The Pilot Juice Up brings together everything Pilot has learned about gel ink over the years. It builds on the G2 and the standard Juice line with a refined needle-point tip, premium pigment-based ink, and a sleek modern design. A lot of enthusiasts consider it Pilot's best gel pen. After extensive testing, I agree.

Pilot Juice Up vs Pilot Juice

The standard Pilot Juice is the more affordable option. It uses the same pigment ink but with a traditional conical tip instead of the needle-point. The Juice comes in 32 colors and has a slightly bulkier barrel. I found the Juice more comfortable for long writing sessions, but the Juice Up wins on precision and looks.

Both pens accept the same LP2RF refills, so you can mix and match. If precision matters more to you, go with the Juice Up. If comfort and value are priorities, the standard Juice is a good choice.
